• Graduated from Augusta College with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (BBA)
• Obtained a Masters in Business from Augusta State University
• Received her Jurist Doctorate, in 1998, from the College of Law
  at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. 
• Studied Criminal and International Law in London England for one
  and a half years.
• Worked for Eight years as a State of Georgia Prosecutor
• Was head of a Domestic Violence Division in Georgia, and ran a
  Traffic Division that generated millions in revenue. 
• Was Chief Counsel of more than 1,500 motions and trials
• Attended the National District Attorney’s Center for Trial Advocacy, Cross Examination, and Driving while Intoxicated.
• Took the following courses in the Prosecutor’s Council Of Georgia
  State Training: DUI and vehicular homicide training, domestic violence,
  evidence, computer forensics, witness interview skills. 
• Became a faculty member for the National Highway Safety Program for
  learning drivers under the age of 21.
• Member of the Georgia Appellate Court and the Georgia Supreme Court. 
• Georgia Bar Association mentor for new attorneys.
• Has taught law classes for at least ten years.  Currently she teaches at night --Criminal Law and American Government in Augusta State University.
