Cara Sprouse Rowe, also known as the DUI QUEEN, has focused her career in the areas of family law and criminal defense. She is one of the few attorneys that have worked in thousands of civil, criminal, and motion hearings, jury trials, and bench trials. Her experience in both sides of the system, prosecution and defense, has allowed her to get the best results for her clients.

Graduated from Augusta College with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (BBA)
Obtained a Masters in Business from Augusta State University
Received her Jurist Doctorate, in 1998, from the College of Law at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma.
Studied Criminal and International Law in London England for one and a half years.
Worked for Eight years as a State of Georgia Prosecutor
Was head of a Domestic Violence Division in Georgia, and ran a Traffic Division that generated millions in revenue.
Was Chief Counsel of more than 1,500 motions and trials
Attended the National District Attorney’s Center for Trial Advocacy, Cross Examination, and Driving while Intoxicated.
Took the following courses in the Prosecutor’s Council Of Georgia State Training: DUI and vehicular homicide training, domestic violence, evidence, computer forensics, witness interview skills.
Became a faculty member for the National Highway Safety Program for learning drivers under the age of 21.
Member of the Georgia Appellate Court and the Georgia Supreme Court.
Georgia Bar Association mentor for new attorneys.
Has taught law classes for at least ten years. Currently she teaches, at night, Criminal Law and American Government in Augusta State University.
